Historic Indian Village Detroit: Home & Garden Tour

Our tour began at the Albert Kahn designed Detroit Waldorf School where we were greeted by an older gentleman dressed in his Sunday best seersucker suit! Our guide, an Indian Village resident led us down tree lined streets and through stunning large scale selected homes designed by some of Detroit’s most distinguished architects. We meandered through gardens in full bloom dating back to 1895 and viewed antique cars on display.

Indian Village is an eclectic neighborhood rich in history, beauty and elegance.

Fun Fact: One of the homes we toured was featured in the movie Hoffa filmed in Detroit in 1992.
