HEART 2 HART DETROIT

The start to 2020 was all about spreading some love by connecting with Detroit’s homeless community with an organization unlike any other. Together with Heart 2 Hart Detroit, we gathered at Hart Plaza to hand out lunch, hats, gloves, socks and other life-sustaining items. We spoke with and learned the backgrounds of some of Detroit’s homeless people. It was a humbling experience to engage with people facing extreme struggles but continue to smile and laugh (and hug).
