A Little Utopia in a Magical Corner of Detroit

Down Telegraph Road – where the Rouge River runs through Ridge Road in the Riverdale neighborhood – is Kibbutz Detropia. On 1.5 densely wooded acres, it’s the home base for a growing Jewish nonprofit. Cofounder Sky Brown and her young son gave a heartfelt tour around their little utopian garden while discussing the many benefits of the various species of plants and herbs.
