Red Bull Quenches the Thirst for Art in Detroit

Red Bull Arts Detroit is a hidden gem in Detroit’s Historic Eastern Market. It’s a unique venue offering dynamic educational and public programming and is the home of a curatorial fellowship, local micro-grant initiative, and artist in residency program, which provides housing and studio space each year for 9 emerging artists from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. Red Bull’s gallery director curated the exhibition, led the group on a tour through the Eastern Market highlighting the Murals in Market, and made stops at local businesses and art spaces.

“Nothing brings us more joy than a great meal with great friends” is the motto of Selden Standard. Chef Andy Hollyday designed a family style lunch showcasing flavors born in local Detroit farms.
