REDUCE FOOD WASTE IN THE D (and beyond)
Located inside the awe inspiring Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian Church is social impact organization Make Food Not Waste, a powerhouse community of people that know food is better eaten than wasted. Founder and Executive Director, Danielle Todd, introduced me to her trailblazing team of bad ass chefs and community volunteers who were busy at work in their Upcycling Kitchen preparing meals for the community using rescued food that would otherwise end up in landfills.
